Bury Lane Farm currently grow several varieties of strawberries including Elsanta and Everbearer. Sold in the shop, our fruit is ever popular for those who have been eagerly awaiting these delights.

“Pick Your Own” Strawberries is now open. You and your family can wander up and down our polytunnels selecting your own fruit to take home for your tea. Typically, PYO is open Thursday – Sunday but is you are specifically coming for PYO, please always call ahead as opening times may be subject to change due to abundance of crop.
Bury Lane Fresh Fruit Brulee
A perfectly healthy summer dessert, sure to impress. Choose one of our delicious smooth dessert wines to accompany this dessert. Serves 4
Punnet of Bury Lane Home-grown Strawberries, washed and sliced
Punnet of Raspberries, washed
125g White Seedless Grapes, washed and halved
10 Ameretti Biscuits
2 x 200g tubs of Longley Farm Crème Fraiche
150g Light Brown Soft Sugar
Fresh Bury Lane Mint, to decorate
Arrange the strawberries, raspberries and grapes in the base of a dish or individual ramekins. Place the amaretti biscuits on top.
Spoon over the crème fraiche to completely seal in the fruit and chill for at least one hour.
Sprinkle over the sugar and smooth the top.
Place under a pre heated hot grill for 1-2 mins until the sugar has caramelised.
Decorate with fresh mint and serve.
