A local charity, offering aid to residents of the town in financial difficulty. The grant size depends on individual circumstances, but we give careful consideration to all applications.
All ages & abilities welcome. Crochet, knitters and all crafters of all abilities & ages welcome. Parents with young children don’t be shy to bring them along too. No commitment needed just bring needles hooks and yarn.
Saturday mornings from 11am – 1pm at the cafe in Wyevale Garden Centre Melbourn.
Thursday evenings from 7pm – 9pm at Heath Cafe, Royston Heath.

YC Hertfordshire provides youth work projects and programmes, information, advice, guidance, work related learning, outdoor education and support for young people aged 13-19 (to 24 for young people with learning disabilities). For young people leaving care, support is provided to the age of 21.
Tuesdays, 4pm – 6pm at Coombes Community Centre, Burns Road, Royston SG8 5PT
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays at Youth Centre, Meridian School, Garden Walk, Royston, SG8 7JH
How it works: Participants pay a reduced class fee which goes into a pot to pay for the hall and teaching costs each week anything extra goes back into the pot to keep the classes
