Is It Time To Do Estate Agency Differently In Royston?

A new estate agency owned by a familiar local face opened in Royston in September and promised to do things very differently. They’ve certainly done just that!
Neil Wise, from Fowlmere, until 2019 owned another estate agency in Royston. But after several years of outside investment and expansion felt it was time to go alone again and do things differently, back to personally being involved in day to day agency and ensuring the business was not just customer focused but community focused.
Having purchased Ensum Brown estate agents of Ware, established since 1988, he felt this was the perfect trusted brand to bring to Royston, but with the opportunity of creating a truly different agency, with fresh ideas and with an aim of serving the community in more ways than just selling homes.
Rather than taking up another valuable shop unit, Ensum Brown have set themselves up in the new ‘Kooky Nohmad’ coffee shop on Royston High Street. Neil says “I’ve owned typical estate agency offices for 15 years; they can be intimidating environments for people to come into. Here we have everything you would have in a traditional agency’s office, with private meeting rooms and more. But this is a social and friendly environment where you can have a coffee and chat with us. The positive feedback has been amazing”
Ensum Brown are introducing their new community card project and also launching a ‘Community Fund’ to support local projects and causes. You can learn more at www.ensumbrown.com/communitycard
