Admission: Adults £6, children are free.
Three local Barley gardens, Dovehouse Shott, The Hoops and Smiths End Barn, will open their gates in Barley on June 16th from 12 noon-5pm participating in the National Garden Scheme. The three gardens share a variety of features, including lavender walks, luscious pink roses, deep herbaceous borders, small orchards, wildlife meadows, pond plantings and a courtyard garden.
All three gardens are located on Smith’s End Lane and will be signposted closer to the date. There will be stalls on the day including a pop-up gin and tonic bar from Pinkster Gin, homemade tea and cakes as well as splendid plants for sale.
Refreshments will be provided at Dovehouse Shott. Combined admission £6 (children free of charge).
If you are local, it would be great if you could arrive on foot as parking is limited.
