Royston Community Wellbeing Mornings from the North Herts Healthy Hub
A new series of free wellbeing talks and family activity sessions are about to begin in Royston, with the first one starting this Wednesday 6 October from 10 am.
Topics and activities include improving your sleep, managing anxiety, winter crafts for young children and many more. They are a great opportunity to learn something new, improve your mental health or to do something fun with your children.
The sessions will take place at Market Hill Rooms, Fish Hill, Royston, SG8 9JL. Please arrive from 10am – talks and activities will begin at 10.15am, talks will run for 45 – 60 minutes and craft sessions will run until around 12 pm. Free refreshments will be available
2022 Session Topics:
Wednesday 5, 19 January & Wednesday 2 February – ‘Fun with Food’ with the Creative Chefs
A practical interactive healthy cooking session for under 5’s and their adult. The recipe for each of the 3 sessions will be different so families are welcome to book for 1, 2 or all 3 sessions.
Councillor Ruth Brown, North Herts Council Deputy Executive Member for Community Engagement said: “We are very excited to launch this new series of free events in Royston. The range of topics and activities should be a welcome opportunity to learn tools to improve your health, have fun with your children and develop new skills. I hope local people will find these sessions useful and enjoyable over the upcoming months”
