Moving into a new house is one of the most stressful things you can do and dealing with a room full of bare windows is one of the most intimidating challenges for anyone. Fear not though, as help is at hand in the form of two local companies.
Linda Turner Interiors and MyFitter have been working together for over 11 years. Linda shows clients a portfolio of design concepts and colour schemes, examples of previous work, together with a van load of sample fabrics, and accessories, including poles, finials, tracks and all types of blinds.
“Choosing a fabric that you like is often hard enough, however working out whether it’s right for the setting and which of them work well together can be a challenge. I love working with colour and this year is very exciting for me as vibrant colours are starting to play a more dominant role”
In 2009, James Dudley started MyFitter as a limited company having been working as a self-employed curtain fitter. Providing a specialist curtain fitting and installation service for interior designers, retailers, property developers, and homeowners.
Since joining forces, the business has continually grown and expanded to cover a large area of South East England.
In 2018 they were proud to win the Royston Chamber of Commerce ‘Best Small Business’ award.
Linda continues to offer her unique style of business through recommendations and referrals both through local networking and advertising.
Together they offer a one stop shop for Interior design and Installation.
“We think it’s really important to spend time finding out exactly what the client needs, so we can design something that they will be proud of for years to come – It breaks our hearts to meet someone who’s been the victim of inexperienced design or clumsy fitting”
