Looking after You: Healthy Skin

Winter weather is not fun for your skin and can leave it feeling tight and cracked with our moisture levels dropping due to the cold and low humidity levels.

Follow these simple tips for glowing and soft skin this February.

Moisturise

Finding a moisturiser than hydrates the skin as well as nourishes is so important, apply straight after cleansing to lock moisture in and try one with an SPF, winter sun can also cause damaging effects on the skin.

Exfoliation

Removing dead skin cells from the surface of the skin can ensure your moisturiser is working into the skin fully. Lots of dead skin cells can cause flakiness and the skin to look dull and lifeless, check with a skin expert for the best exfoliator for your skin.

Masques

We often think as face masques to be a luxurious part kind of a skin regime which we don’t often have time for but having a masque that you can apply 1-2 times a week with added nourishment that is packed full of repairing vitamins can make all the difference in how your skin looks and feels this winter.

Oh yes, don’t forget to drink water too.
