Herts Open Studios
If you are interested in Art, this months Spotlight On is for you. Artists from all around Hertfordshire are opening their studios from the 8th – 30th September for you to come along and look at some of the stunning work they have created.
The artists and artisan makers have a range of work from painting to sculpture, printmaking, photography, glass, jewellery and so much more for you to see. Each of the artists studios are free to visit and will offer a mix of working studios, demonstrations, exhibitions and workshops. You can see for yourself early designs or finished pieces to see how the artists create their wonderful work.
In Royston we have one of our very own artists taking part. Andrew Ludlow is opening his studio. Andrew works in watercolour and oil painting a huge variety of subjects. He also creates his own colours which will be available to try during his Open Studios. There is wheelchair access to his studio as well as refreshments and a demonstration.

We also have a Potter and a Painter taking part in the Herts Open Studios from Fowlmere.
William James Kohler creates ceramic sculptures and vessels with a volcanic and organic finish inspired by the elements. His functional kitchen ware has a rustic effect finish.
Anthony Dansie creates still life, landscapes and studio portraits in oils as well as clay sculptured portrait heads cast on resin or plaster.
