The Listing Distribution Coronavirus Update

The coronavirus outbreak is affecting us all, so we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know of our plans at The Listing for the coming months.

Due to the latest Government directives, we will be distributing our April issues once it is safe and viable to do so.

Delivery of our April issue, which has already been printed, is due to go out later on in April via our ‘Royal Mail Heroes’, who are already out delivering our mail every day.
Their delivery process is slightly different to ours, and it means that some residents in Royston may receive a Villages magazine and some in the Villages, a Royston magazine. All 16,500 magazines are due to go out door-to-door, directly into letterboxes.

Our Royal Mail booking means that we have been unable to cover Ashwell which is in SG7 this month, but instead are reaching some of the smaller villages in SG8 that we no longer distribute to.

Both magazines are available to read online, along with our Coronavirus update – Click on the cover image below or visit;

In times of crisis like this, we think it is important that we continue to publish our community magazines that bring residents, businesses and organisations together, as long as it is safe and viable to do so. We are aware how very essential our community magazines and delivery services are in keeping the community together and providing a source of hope and practical support with the outside world.  This enables us to continue to support local people with all the information they need to help them.

In addition to this month’s print magazines, we are sharing the magazines extensively on our social media channels and encouraging readers and advertisers to sign up to our online mailing list to receive a copy of our magazines and updates direct to their inbox: www.eepurl.com/dxAazL

On a more cheerful note: Spring is here and the evenings are getting lighter, and we can look forward to spending times in our gardens, copious quantities of chocolate and (plenty of) time with our immediate family.  This month’s magazines include a mix of community advice, practical resources and articles on wellbeing and keeping a positive mindset.  At the time of going to press, you’ll see a selection of Springtime events advertised: given the latest guidance from the Government, we have advised that readers check all events with the event holder.

Stay positive, stay safe, and stay together.
With best wishes,

Your Listing Team
