May to us is really the start of all the fun summer events we look forward to all year and this year is no different! We are also fortunate to have two bank holidays and if you are lucky enough to not be working you may be stuck on what to do. We have put together just a few events along the Fetes and Fayres theme that you can attend in May.
For many people, Royston Town Football Club’s Music and Beer Festival is a ‘must attend’ event of the summer. From live music, bouncy castles, real ale and ciders and an all new for 2019 Gin Bar, it has something for everyone and promises to be a great day out.
As seen in our ‘Out & About’ this month the beautiful village of Ashwell is set to host its 2019 Music Festival over two weekends from 10th-19th May. Barkway Market also takes place on Saturday 11th May from 10am-4pm. With over 120 stalls selling homeware, gardenware, plants, clothing and much more it’s a great event for your summer calendar.
These are just a few of the many things we have going on locally in May. If you still need some inspiration then visit our What’s On Calendar!
