Royston Health Walks is a social walking group. We are very welcoming and friendly and pride ourselves in being positively inclusive and non-cliquey. We walk at a leisurely pace over Therfield Heath, have a chat and then go for refreshments in the café. Everyone regardless of age, level of fitness and in principle state of health can get something from walking with us. The walks are free and accompanied children and dogs are welcome. For more information contact: 01763 852769 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Every sports club is invited to register with Sport Royston at no cost and participate in its activities.
Over the years Sport Royston has promoted a variety of events, Junior Super Stars, Sports Fayres, Volunteer Awards and an annual Sports Quiz. Meeting two or three times a year in a social environment, participants are able to exchange ideas, share good practice, seek advice on obtaining grant aid and learn of training courses available ’on our doorstep’.
With the support of Sport Royston and our District and County Councillors Fiona Hill and Tony Hunter, who regularly attend meetings, a number of clubs have been able to enhance their facilities. Clubs in membership of Sport Royston automatically receive details from Active North Herts (formerly Sport North Herts) via their website and newsletters.
