Never sung in a choir before but fancy giving it a go? Or maybe you sang in the past and would like to again? We are a community choir based in Braughing in Hertfordshire, directed by Sarah Mapplebeck. Members come from the towns and villages surrounding Braughing as well as  the village itself. The choir sings music in a variety of styles and is open to all ages and abilities. There are no auditions and you do not need to be able to read music. The only requirement is plenty of enthusiasm! Braughing Sing is running a ‘Bring a Buddy’ session on Tuesday October 9th. Choir members will be bring a chum along to have a try out with the choir. We will have two singing sessions and an interval with cakes and tea. Do come along with a buddy or by yourself make a joyful noise with Braughing Sing.[...]

Andy Sheppard tenor sax,  Espen Eriksen piano/compositions,  Andreas Bye drums,  Lars Tormod Jenset double bass Masters of melody from Norway team up with British jazz star for a brand new collaboration. When Espen Eriksen Trio embarked on their first full scale UK tour in May 2016, saxophonist Andy Sheppard joined them for two concerts in London. From the first notes it was clear that this was a perfect match. The interplay was seamless and it was as if the melodies of Epsen Eriksen were specially written for Andy Sheppard.
