Friends of Therfield Heath and Greens

Are you looking for something for new experiences now we can get out more? Why not join The Friends of Therfield Heath and Greens.
We are a local charity helping conserve the beautiful rare chalk grassland and the natural environment it supports. We arrange varied events from indoor quizzes to outdoor nature walks, raising funds that supports conservation of the Heath. Our litter picks are a popular regular event making the Heath a more pleasant place to visit.

Those of us already members find being a “friend” very rewarding, but we could do with some help. Do you have website, secretarial, organisational skills or just the willingness to join in, be part of the team, then please join us. Serving on the committee of a charity such as ours can even enhance your CV!

About Therfield Heath and Greens:

The place we call The Heath or Royston Heath is really in the parish of Therfield and actually called Therfield Heath, run by the Conservators for The Therfield Regulation Trust. The only part of “The Heath” in Royston is Sun Hill Common. The Greens are small green spaces in local villages also deserving of help.
Recently many of us have found this precious local asset, somewhere to relax, walk, enjoy the natural beauty and the amazing views. Please help us to keep it special.
