Spotlight On…Royston Community Breakfast Reflection

The Royston Community Breakfast Club, run by Royston Rotary Club, is set up for the organisers of community groups in Royston and District to meet up, support each other and share ideas. Since lockdown they have, of course, not been meeting in person, but continue to keep in touch with their members. Recently, they asked all their members what they have learned from the pandemic, so that as a community, we can all be better prepared in the future.

Here are some of the many points suggested, with grateful thanks to Gillian Morland (Coombes Community Centre), David Izod (Memory Café), David Allard (Ramblers, History Soc, WEA), Jackie Cotton (Home-Start) and Ray Munden (Rotary).

Royston Community Breakfast Club ordinarily meets on the second Friday every month, 7.30 – 9.00 am at The Old Bull Inn, Royston.

For now, you can ask to be added to the mailing list by emailing Oscar Sassoli at breakfast@roystoncommunity.org.uk you can also visit: www.roystonrotary.com/communitybreakfast.htm

You can read the full responses from the Royston Community breakfast members by clicking here.

The organisers have also created a handy checklist that all organisations and businesses can learn from.  You can download a copy here.
